HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARA!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Tara!! We hope you have a
wonderful day. Wish we could be there to help
celebrate your Big 30th with you. I got out the photo
album and found these picture of you and thought
I would share them. The top one is when you
were 3 months old.

Sunday the Blessing and Baptism

On Sunday morning at church Bryson was Blessed.

David did the blessing and his Grandfathers were
there in the circle also. David and Jennifer were going
to do the blessing in Washington, but decided to wait
since they were coming out for Autumn's Baptism so
that more people could be there.

Baptism, and he did a wonderful job.

We had lunch after the Baptism. These are a few of
the family, mostly children, having their lunch.

After the Baptism we tried to get some pictures of
the grandkids since the were all there. They were
tired so not as good of pictures as we would have
liked, but you do with what you got. They are still
adorable.

After the party we headed over to the motel we were

staying at and got into the pool for a while.

Jake and Braeden didn't either one like the water
to well so they stayed pretty much on the edge and
tried to splash everyone. After swim time we all headed
out to get something to eat. It was a long day and
everyone hit the hay for some sleep time before the
long day we had on Sunday.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR AUTUMN IN KY.

On Friday I left to go to CIncinnati To Mary and John's house to meet John and so that we could all go down to Ky. for a birthday party for Autumn and also for Bryson's Blessing and Autumn's Baptism. John was able to get to Cincinnati on Sat. morning from Chicago, so off we went to Ky. It was a wonderful party and we had a great time. Jennifer and David did a great job putting the party together. The kids all had a good time. As you can tell they had lots of things for them to do. It was a Fancy Nancy party, so they had things for the girls and boys to dress up in, the girls had hats they put flowers on and could also draw on them to dress them up. The boys got vest that they were able to decorate and wear. The girls and boys were also able to go and pick out other accessories to put on, such as, Top hats and bow ties for the boys and boa's, gloves,nad necklaces for the girls. After picking out their accessories the had a fashion show. They had lunch and cupcakes and parfaits for dessert. The day turned out great, we did miss a few of the family that wasn't able to make it. We wish you could have been there also. Autumn we hope you had a wonderful day and we are so greatful we were able to spend it with you.

Davidson River Camping

Wed. morning I was off with the camper to meet
John at Davidson River for a couple of days of
camping. We actually got there at the same time.
John coming from Chicago and me from home.
We were afraid that we might get rain while
there but got lucky and it only rained Wed.
night and cleared up the next morning. We got
to go on a few hikes while there and see some
beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Here is some
of what we got to see. The first waterfall is at
Lower Falls, this first picture is just before
the falls starts.

These are pictures taken while on the Blue Ridge
Parkway. The views were spectacular. The
picture with the rock in a distance is Looking Glass
Rock.

Just a beautiful flower on one of the trails.

Yes, this is Sliding Rock, and Yes, the next picture
shows people going down it, and you know how
cold it is later in the summer.

This is a Falls is at Moores Cove a nice
hike in to see it.

I am very thankful to live in this beautiful country,and
enjoy all of the things that Our Heavenly Father has
given to us. We had a great time and hope to get together
with some,if not all, of our family this summer
to do some more camping and just enjoy each
others company and the beauty of the earth.
