go and celebrate the life of my Uncle Bob.
Though this was a sad time because of his
passing, it was also a time of remembrance.
Bob was born on April 24, 1925 to the late
John Robert Hamilton Sr. and Mallie Farler.
He was 85 years, 11 months and 2 days old.
Bob served in the US Army, in World War II.
His Occupations were: Barber, farmer, and wood
craftsman, he also was employed and retired
from Trailways. He loved playing the guitar, singing,
and woodwork.
He was a great man in many peoples eyes, especially
mine. He was like a second Father to me, as we got
to see him quiet often since they lived in the
next town over while we were young. He always
had a story to tell, song to sing, and Ice Cream
to eat.
I will miss him, but know that he is in a better place,
and at rest.
Below are pictures of some of his funeral.
The Disabled Veterans Auxiliary came to honor
him also.
