Let It Rain

I know that some of you would not like to see this
rain coming down, but here we are so glad to see it.
We are getting some of the rain from Hurricane Fay
and we are so thankful to get it. Our lakes here are
down so much that some of the boat dock are not even
in the water. So this was a beautiful sight for us here.
Just thought I would share a little of the things we
are thankful for here.

Golfing

Tuesday John and I went Golfing after Aunt Carol and Mary had gone home and we got a few other things done around here. As you know I am sooo good at the sport that John just can't keep up with me.LOL We had a nice time, the course is so peaceful, as is around the house, we enjoy just being out together.
On Wed. John and Jeff (the Young Mens President) and some of the young men got together here and had a little golf outing. I think they all had fun and look forward to getting together again. Here are a few pictures from their outing. After they finished we grilled some burgers and sat and talked before the had to make there 40 min. drive home. We enjoyed having them here and hope to do it again.

A visit from Mary and Aunt Carol

This past Sunday Mary and Aunt Carol came to visit and stayed till Tuesday. We had a nice visit with them, even though they may have gotten to much rest while they were here as we didn't do to much except catch up on everything and just enjoy our time with them. John did give them the tour of the village, and of our big town, and as Kristy says, the town part, takes about 5 minutes. He also took them out on a golf cart to show them around the course. All in all we had a very good visit and were sad to see them leave. We love you and always know that you can stop by anytime, cause you know that were right on the way to wherever your going.LOL
