Girls Camp, Believe, Blossom, Become

So with only a day and a half between John and I's

camping trip to Table Rock, it was time for

Church Girl's Camp, and guess where we were

going! That's right we were going right back up

to the same area, Camp Wesleyan, just down

the road from Table Rock.

After getting there and getting the girls setup

in there tents, it was off to lunch.

There were all kinds of activities planned to

keep the girls busy. They did hikes, our level

did the 5 mile hike. We did alot of activities to

sign them off on their First Aid, Cooking, Fire

building, Plant identification, and cloud formations

Fun was had by all. we also had the serious times

of Scripture Study, Devotionals, and Skits.

This is Siter Poter the Camp Director and Sister

Kunzler having a water fight. yes, even the adults

got in on the fun.

More of the water fights/ First Aid Drill.

More of the activities.

This is Our Camp Director at the Nature Center

holding a snake, the girls really enjoyed this as

most of the held the snake and also one of their turtles.

This is one of the workers at the Nature Center

telling us how to tell the sex and age of the box turtle.

The girls had a dance Wednesday night. That

day we had a bad storm so this was a treat for

them as some of us were at the campsite fixing

tents during their fun.

Stevie and others getting the pizzas ready for

cooking in dutch ovens, just before the storm came.

Maria and Stevie making their fire and trying

to get their fire high enough to burn their string.

Quasha and her partner building their fire.

We had a good time there and learned lots of useful

things. The girls are great Young Women, and I was

proud to be their leader.
